Newbies...

Come along and give us a go!  Feel free to come along and try taekwondo - please let us know first so that we know to expect you Contact Us

Please turn up a few minutes early so that one of our instructors can have a quick chat with you, but after that, we'll get you kicking in no time.


Please remember:

  • Wear comfortable clothing suitable for energetic sport (e.g. tracksuit trousers or shorts and a t-shirt)
  • We train in bare feet
  • Remove all jewellery (or cover with plasters/tape if cannot be removed (e.g. piercings)
  • Bring a bottle of water for hydration
  • Have a great time and tell your friends!

We follow the syllabus set out by British Taekwondo.  Each grade from beginner to black belt, has set criteria. Our classes cover all of these from basic kicks, punches and blocks to patterns, sparring, self defence, destruction techniques and knife defence.
